Trajectory
Danrlei de Deus Hinterholz was born on April 18, 1973 , in Crissiumal (RS) and is a former professional athlete, having been a prominent goalkeeper for Grêmio and an idol of Rio Grande do Sul football before entering politics. After ending his sports career, he transitioned to public life and was elected federal deputy for Rio Grande do Sul by the PSD , serving consecutive terms in the House of Representatives since 2011 in the legislatures 2011–2015, 2015–2019, 2019–2023 and 2023–2027 .
His political and parliamentary career was consolidated in Brasília, focusing on sports policies, municipalism, and regional issues in Rio Grande do Sul , in addition to participating in the debate on the development of Brazilian sports based on his personal experience. He is affiliated with the PSD and has already taken leave from his mandate to perform executive functions related to sports in the Government of Rio Grande do Sul .
In the National Congress , Danrlei de Deus Hinterholz is a member of the Transportation and Highways Committee, the Sports Committee, and the Special Committee on the Sports Incentive Law (PLP 234/24) , and was elected 1st vice-president of the Sports Committee in March 2025. In 2025, he registered 21 proposals of his own authorship and 1 reported, according to official data from the House of Representatives. Among the projects that were processed are PL No. 2828/2021 , which amends provisions of the Sports Incentive Law to prioritize projects for Olympic training centers; PL No. 3158/2024 , which deals with the punishment of organized fan groups at sporting events; and PL No. 4551/2025 , which amends the National Policy for the Humanization of Maternal and Parental Grief.
