Vander Luiz dos Santos Loubet is a Brazilian politician born on January 22, 1964, in Porto Murtinho (MS) . A banker by training and with a law degree, he was one of the founders of the Workers' Party (PT) in Mato Grosso do Sul and was active in the student and labor movements before formally entering politics.
In his political career , Vander Loubet was first elected federal deputy for Mato Grosso do Sul in 2002 and is serving his sixth consecutive term in the House of Representatives (2003–2027) for the PT in the PT-PCdoB-PV Federation — an unprecedented trajectory in the state. Throughout his terms, he has accumulated experience in various committees, having served as both alternate and full member on committees such as Agriculture, Science and Technology, Communication, National Integration and Regional Development , and currently on the Mines and Energy Committee and the Economic Development Committee . In the state PT, he was elected president of the directory in 2025 , reinforcing his role in the local party organization.
In the National Congress , Vander Loubet has a continuous legislative activity, with hundreds of proposals of his authorship (approximately 167 in 2025) and several reports (4 in the same year) registered in the House of Representatives. Among the projects he recently presented are PL 5979/2025 , which names the bridge over the Aquidauana River on BR-419 "Deputy Roberto Orro" ; PL 4713/2024 and PL 4328/2024 , which seek to simplify the procedure for the economic exploitation of manganese mineral deposits ; and, in previous legislatures, PL 3638/2023 , which amends the law on the Union's active debt to allow payment in kind with real estate . These initiatives reflect his work in regional development, economic regulation, and strengthening local infrastructure .
