Trajectory
Tarcísio Motta began his political journey through activism in the Youth Ministry. In 1999, he entered the educational field as a History teacher in the state and municipal school systems of Duque de Caxias, where he also served as director of the local branch of the State Union of Education Professionals (Sepe).
A milestone in his career was his participation in the reorganization of the Forum in Defense of Public Schools (Fedep). In 2005, Tarcísio Motta won a position at Colégio Pedro II through a public competition, and although he is currently on leave, his educational contribution continues. Since 2005, he has also been a member of PSOL, the party to which he is affiliated.
Tarcísio Motta had a successful political career, serving two terms as a city councilor, including being the most voted candidate in Rio de Janeiro in 2020. Despite not succeeding in his bids for Governor of the State in 2014 and 2018, he demonstrated his perseverance. His work in the House of Representatives was noted for his dedication to education, culture, and urban transportation. With an impressive 159,900 votes, he was elected to his first term as a federal deputy.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
