Stefano Aguiar dos Santos was born on March 3, 1976, in Belo Horizonte (MG) . A business administrator, rural entrepreneur, and pastor of the Quadrangular Gospel Church , he combines his religious activities with politics, representing conservative values and agendas related to social and economic development. He entered public life as a special advisor in the government of Minas Gerais (2005–2010) before assuming legislative mandates.
In his political career , Stefano Aguiar was first elected federal deputy for Minas Gerais in 2011 (PSC) and, after stints with the PSB , has been affiliated with the PSD since 2016. He is currently serving his fourth consecutive term in the House of Representatives (2019–2023 and 2023–2027) , having been re-elected in 2022 with approximately 96,000 votes. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held positions such as vice-leader of the PSD in previous periods and is a member of permanent committees, including as a full member of committees such as the Committee on Foreign Relations and National Defense , and as an alternate member of committees on Environment and Sustainable Development and Mines and Energy in the current legislature.
