Sâmia de Souza Bomfim (known as Sâmia Bomfim ) is a Brazilian politician, feminist, and activist , born on August 22, 1989, in Presidente Prudente (SP) . A graduate in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (USP) , she began her political career in the student movement and in activism for human rights, gender equality, and social justice . She served as a city councilor in São Paulo (2017–2018) before being elected federal deputy for the state of São Paulo in 2018 , and re-elected in 2022 for her second term in the 57th Legislature (2023–2027) by the PSOL (PSOL-REDE Federation) . She was one of the most voted PSOL parliamentarians in the state in her last election, with a strong base in feminist and social agendas.
In her political career , Sâmia Bomfim has established herself as one of the most active voices in the progressive caucus, especially in women's rights, human rights, the environment, and social justice . In the House of Representatives, she was the third deputy coordinator of the Women's Caucus in the 2023-2025 term , a position of articulation for gender equality agendas, and she serves on permanent committees focused on these issues, in addition to chairing the Special Subcommittee on Air Conditioning in Schools , a body created within the Education Committee to discuss thermal comfort and school infrastructure in the country.
In the National Congress , Sâmia Bomfim has an active and multifaceted legislative role, focusing on gender equality, the environment, digital rights, and anti-corruption regulations . In short, her work includes the presentation of bills such as PL 6020/2025 , which amends Law No. 14.133/2021 to prevent companies convicted of moral harassment from participating in bidding processes and contracting ; PL 3234/2025 , which establishes the Climate Responsibility Contribution on Luxury Air Transport, applicable to private jets and tickets in premium classes ; and PL 3898/2025 , which prohibits the direct or indirect monetization of digital or audiovisual content that focuses on the image or participation of children and adolescents on social media platforms . In previous years, he presented proposals such as Bill 4878/2024 , which amends Law No. 14,531/2023 to name it the "David Miranda Law," and Bill 1092/2024 , which expands the temporary job security of pregnant women hired for a fixed term , reflecting his commitment to labor rights, social protection, digital security, and climate justice in the country.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
