Trajectory
Rúbia Fernanda Díniz Robson Santos de Siqueira, known as Colonel Fernanda, was born on November 13, 1974, in Cuiabá (MT). A career military officer, she joined the Mato Grosso Military Police in 1996 and served for over two decades in the force, reaching the rank of colonel before retiring. She holds a degree in Law and has specializations in Criminal Law, Public Administration, and Public Security Management, having consolidated her professional career in the area of public security.
Her political career began in 2020 when she ran in the special election for the Federal Senate in Mato Grosso, gaining national prominence, although she was not elected. She joined the Liberal Party (PL) in 2021 and, in the 2022 elections, was elected federal deputy for the state of Mato Grosso with 60,304 votes, assuming office in February 2023. Until then, she had not held elected office, her public activity being concentrated on her military career and the debate on public security.
In the House of Representatives, Colonel Fernanda focuses on public security, women's rights, and issues related to agribusiness. She holds the position of Women's Prosecutor of the House of Representatives for the 2025-2026 term, having previously served as leader of the Mato Grosso federal caucus, deputy leader of the PL party, and leader of the women's caucus. She is a member of committees such as the Public Security and Combating Organized Crime Committee and the Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development Committee, in addition to being a member of the CCJ (Committee on Constitution, Justice and Citizenship). Among her notable proposals are Bill No. 3710/2023, which deals with the classification of violence against pregnant women, and Bill No. 2783/2025, aimed at rules for public service examinations, as well as relevant reports, such as that of Bill No. 4882/2019, on rural properties seized for agrarian reform purposes.
