Trajectory
Ricardo Zanatta Guidi is a Brazilian businessman, farmer, and politician born on September 28, 1977, in Criciúma (SC) . He holds a law degree and a postgraduate degree in Business Management. He began his political career in 2014 when he was elected state deputy in Santa Catarina for the then PPS (now PSD), where he served on various committees, including the Defense of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (which he chaired) and Public Security . In 2018, he was elected federal deputy for Santa Catarina , being re-elected in 2022 for the 2023–2027 legislature , and consolidated his parliamentary work focused on regional development and the defense of productive sectors of the state.
In his institutional political role, Guidi represents the Santa Catarina delegation in the House of Representatives , where he is and has been a member of committees such as Urban Development , Mines and Energy , Environment and Sustainable Development , and Defense of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities , reflecting his concern with both urban infrastructure and social policies and sustainability. He also took a temporary leave of absence from his mandate to assume the position of Secretary of State for the Environment and Green Economy of Santa Catarina , appointed by the governor, reinforcing his participation in environmental and energy transition policies in the state.
In his legislative work, Guidi has been involved in proposals and amendments aimed at strengthening the economic and social development of Santa Catarina. One of his most notable contributions was the amendment to Bill 712/2019 , approved by Congress and enacted, which guarantees the continuity of activities in the coal sector until 2040 , with the creation of the Just Energy Transition (TEJ) program to reconcile jobs and environmental recovery in the southern region of the state. Furthermore, he served as rapporteur for Bill 4019/21 in the Urban Development Committee, which establishes guidelines to increase the safety of women and children in public restrooms in Brazilian municipalities , demonstrating his legislative work on urban safety issues. As a parliamentarian, Guidi also allocates significant budget amendments for infrastructure improvements and local development projects in Santa Catarina.
