Reinhold Stephanes Júnior is a Brazilian economist and politician born on July 26, 1965, in Curitiba (PR) . With a degree in economics and a professional career also in public administration, he based his political career on technical and family experience; his father, Reinhold Stephanes, is one of the historical figures in Brazilian politics. Stephanes Júnior combines technical training with continuous legislative experience as a federal parliamentarian.
In his political career , Stephanes was elected federal deputy for Paraná in the 2019-2023 and 2023-2027 legislatures , assuming office on April 12, 2023, as an acting substitute in the 57th Legislature . In Parliament, he is affiliated with the Liberal Party (PL) and has held vice-leader positions in broad parliamentary blocs involving UNIÃO, PP, PSD, Republicanos, MDB, PSDB-Cidadania, and PODE at different times in 2024-2025, which expands his participation in the articulation of votes and priorities of the government bloc. Stephanes is a member of the Finance and Taxation Committee and an alternate member of committees such as Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development, Foreign Relations and National Defense, and the Special Committee on Federal Competencies in Public Security (PEC 018/25) .
In the National Congress , her legislative work in 2025 includes 113 proposals authored by her and 3 reported, registered on the House of Representatives' website, reflecting a mandate focused on social, economic, and regulatory issues. Among the projects she presented are PL 4433/2025 , which deals with work leave and the granting of social security or welfare benefits to women victims of domestic violence, with amendments to provisions of the Maria da Penha Law, the CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws), and social security legislation ; PL 5475/2025 , which amends Law No. 14,790/2023 to prohibit the advertising of fixed-odds betting lotteries ; and PL 4905/2025 , which amends Laws No. 6,360/1976 and No. 5,991/1973 to regulate the importation and marketing of cannabinoid medicines by legal entities . In addition to previous proposals such as Bill 2902/2024 , which amends the Brazilian Traffic Code to regulate the identification of official emergency, public safety, and fire department vehicles , and Bill 1515/2024 , which names the Assungui National Forest "Sir Robert Baden-Powell," these initiatives demonstrate his interest in issues related to social protection, market regulation, medicine, and urban planning.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
