Trajectory
Raimundo Magalhães Costa was born on March 9, 1961, in Valença (BA). With a degree in Administration and experience as an administrator and fisherman, he began his political involvement working in favor of artisanal fishing and local shellfish gatherers. He was president of the Federation of Fishermen of the State of Bahia (FEPESBA), establishing himself as a defender of workers in the category.
His political career began as a city councilor in Valença, a position he held for six consecutive terms starting in 1988. In 2018, he was elected federal deputy for Bahia through the PRP party, and re-elected in 2022, already affiliated with the PODE party.
They have 48 proposals of their own authorship.
Member of the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development.
Alternate member of the Foreign Relations and National Defense Committee, in addition to having served as an alternate member of the Science, Technology and Innovation Committee.
First Secretary in the Brazil-Georgia Parliamentary Group (since February 2023).

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
