Trajectory

Raimundo Diniz Araújo, better known as Pastor Diniz , was born on March 21, 1980 , in Boa Vista (RR) . He holds a university degree and, before entering federal politics, worked as a psychologist and religious leader , serving as pastor of the Assembly of God in Roraima, which gave him a strong community presence and electoral base in the state.

Political Career

He was elected federal deputy for Roraima by União Brasil in 2022 with 8,243 votes , assuming his first term in the House of Representatives in the 57th Legislature (2023–2027) from February 1, 2023. His political career is marked by his work on social issues and the defense of religious values, as well as his participation in the state party organization; in 2025 he was nominated to assume the presidency of União Brasil in Roraima .

Performance in the House of Representatives

In the National Congress , Pastor Diniz has been active in legislative terms, with approximately 195 proposals authored by him and 43 reported on in 2025 , according to official data. He is a member of the committees on Human Rights, Minorities and Racial Equality , Social Security, Social Assistance, Childhood, Adolescence and Family , and the External Committee for Monitoring the Yanomami Crisis , in addition to serving as an alternate member of committees such as Communication and the Special Committee on the National Education Plan 2024–2034 . Among his projects, various matters stand out, such as Bill No. 4972/2025 (on religious freedom and collaborative secularism) and Bill No. 4929/2025 (which establishes the National Impact Economy Policy).
