Paulo Roberto Foletto, born in Colatina/ES on April 30, 1956, is a surgeon trained at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) and a Brazilian politician affiliated with the Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB). He currently serves as a federal deputy for the state of Espírito Santo.
Paulo Foletto began his political career as a city councilor in Colatina, a position he held from 1993 to 1996. In 2002, he was elected state representative for Espírito Santo, being re-elected in 2006, totaling two terms in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Espírito Santo. In 2010, he was elected federal deputy for Espírito Santo and re-elected in 2014 .
In 2018, he was appointed by Governor Renato Casagrande to be the Secretary of Agriculture of Espírito Santo, a position he held until March 2022. He was re-elected as a federal deputy in 2022 , with 48,776 votes.
During his terms as a federal deputy, Paulo Foletto has stood out for his work on issues related to health, agriculture, and labor reform. In 2016, he was one of the federal deputies who voted in favor of the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff . He voted favorably on several economic reforms, such as the Constitutional Amendment that established the Spending Cap Rule in 2016, the Labor Reform in 2017, and the Tax Reform of 2023.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
