Trajectory
Vermelho is the political name of Nelsi Coguetto Maria , born on March 1, 1959, in Francisco Beltrão (PR) . An entrepreneur by training, he built his professional career in the private sector before becoming an active political figure in Southwest Paraná. His trajectory is linked to municipal representation and the demands of the state's interior cities, which influenced the electoral base that led him to the Federal Parliament.
In his political career , Vermelho was elected federal deputy for Paraná in 2018 , assuming his first term on February 1, 2019 , and was re-elected in 2022 for the 2023-2027 legislature , initially representing the PL party . In 2025 , he joined the Progressistas (PP) party , reinforcing his position in the Paraná delegation in the House of Representatives.
