Trajectory
Marcos Sborowski Pollon was born on January 19, 1981, in Dourados (MS) . A lawyer, university professor, and specialist in gun control legislation, he also distinguished himself as the founder of the National Pro-Gun Movement Association (AMPA), which became the largest pro-gun organization in Brazil, dedicated to defending the right to own and carry weapons and self-defense. Pollon is married, a father of five, and combines his political activity with a digital presence as an influencer.
In his political career , he was elected federal deputy for Mato Grosso do Sul in 2022 , assuming his first term in the House of Representatives on February 1, 2023, representing the Liberal Party (PL-MS) and obtaining 103,111 votes as the most voted candidate in the state in that election. Pollon has already served as vice-leader of the PL and vice-leader of the Minority in the House of Representatives at different periods of the 2023-2025 legislature, in addition to acting as a full member in committees such as the Constitution and Justice and Citizenship Committee (CCJ) , the Urban Development Committee, and the Public Security and Combating Organized Crime Committee.
In the National Congress , Marcos Pollon has a significant and numerous legislative activity, with hundreds of proposals authored by him and several reports registered on the House of Representatives's website (more than 400 proposals in 2025) . Among his bills are proposals focused on public safety and the right to bear arms , such as PL 3317/2025 , which revokes article 23 of the Disarmament Statute, delegating the classification of firearms to the president ; PL 1539/2025 , which amends Law No. 10,826/2003 to make the criteria for authorizing the possession and carrying of weapons more objective ; PL 3127/2025 , which ensures priority processing for the acquisition and carrying of weapons for women in situations of domestic violence ; and PL 3125/2025 , which guarantees the right to carry weapons for notaries and registrars . In addition to projects such as Bill 4288/2025 , which exempts the income of people with permanent ostomies from income tax , and Bill 5615/2025 , which deals with issues of security, freedom, and institutional protection , these proposals reflect his legislative work on conservative agendas and legal security, as well as on measures for fiscal and social inclusion.
