Maurício Neves (Manoel Maurício Silva Neves) is a Brazilian businessman and politician , born on November 5, 1979, in São Caetano do Sul (SP) . He holds a degree in business administration from Universidade São Marcos (SP) and has a background in business and in discussions about entrepreneurship and municipalism before entering party politics with the Progressistas (PP-SP) party. In the 2022 elections, he was elected federal deputy for São Paulo with 129,731 votes , beginning his first term in the 57th Legislature (2023–2027) in the House of Representatives .
In his parliamentary political career , Maurício Neves has served as deputy leader of the parliamentary bloc (UNIÃO, PP, PSDB-Cidadania Federation, PDT, Avante, Solidariedade, PRD) between April 2024 and January 2025 , and on March 19, 2025, he was elected president of the Transportation and Highways Committee of the House of Representatives , a strategic body for infrastructure and logistics issues. He is also a full member of the External Committee to Monitor the Works of the Santos-Guarujá Tunnel and was an alternate member of committees such as Industry, Commerce and Services , expanding his thematic activity in the House.
In the National Congress , Maurício Neves' legislative work focuses on infrastructure, transportation, social inclusion, and health , with more than 50 proposals of his authorship registered on the House of Representatives' website in 2025.
