Trajectory
Luiz Hiloshi Nishimori is a Brazilian politician and farmer born on April 9, 1949, in Marialva (PR) . A rural entrepreneur and merchant, he also holds a degree in Accounting Sciences from the State University of Maringá and has been involved in agricultural activities since the 1970s—experience that influences his parliamentary work on issues of agriculture, rural development, and foreign trade. He is also a member of cultural entities linked to the Japanese-Brazilian community and has presided over solemn sessions honoring Japanese immigration to Brazil.
In his political career , Nishimori was a state representative in Paraná (2003–2011) before being elected federal deputy in 2010 , assuming office in 2011 and being successively re-elected for the 2015–2019, 2019–2023, and 2023–2027 legislatures, representing the PSD-PR in the House of Representatives. Throughout his time in the House, he held positions as vice-leader of the party in various bloc formations and within the PSD , in addition to participating in parliamentary fronts focused on agribusiness, fishing, and cooperativism . He is the president of the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock, Supply, and Rural Development (CAPADR).
In the National Congress , Luiz Nishimori's legislative work focuses on agriculture, rural development, social inclusion, and culture , with 94 proposals authored by him and 6 reported on in 2025, registered on the House of Representatives's website.
