Trajectory
Luiz Carlos Jorge Hauly was born on October 8, 1950, in the city of Cambé (Paraná). He graduated in Physical Education from the State University of Londrina (UEL) in 1974 and later in Economics, also from UEL, in 1982. Before working at the federal level, he worked as a Physical Education teacher and later in municipal administration in Paraná.
His political career includes municipal and state mandates, as well as a long federal career. He was a city councilor in Cambé at a young age and mayor of the municipality. At the federal level, he was first elected federal deputy in 1991 and served consecutive terms until 2019, returning to Congress in 2023.
In the National Congress, Luiz Hauly worked in the economic, fiscal, administrative, and structural reform areas. He previously served as Secretary of Finance for the State of Paraná in two state governments. In his current legislature (57th), he is a member of the Special Committee dealing with Bill 1087/25 , which amends income tax legislation. Hauly also served as deputy leader of the MDB/PSD/Republicanos/PODE bloc on several occasions.

Luiz Carlos Hauly received the Parliamentary Excellence Award from the Politicians Ranking in every year of the 57th Legislature (2023-2026), being the 3rd best parliamentarian in Paraná and 30th in the overall ranking for the Legislature.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
