Trajectory
Luciano Suruagy do Amaral Filho was born on June 27, 1986, in Maceió, Alagoas . He is a cattle rancher by training and comes from a family with roots in the Alagoas hinterland. In his professional life, he was the financial director of the Legislative Assembly of Alagoas , in addition to having strong ties to the agricultural sector. He is a cousin of the current governor of Alagoas, Paulo Dantas.
Luciano Amaral entered politics and was elected federal deputy for Alagoas in the 2022 elections , obtaining 101,508 votes . He assumed office on February 1, 2023 , and is currently serving as the incumbent. In May 2025 , he joined the PSD , boosting the party's presence in the Northeast region; he also took over the leadership of the PSD's directory in Alagoas.
He presented 108 proposals of his own authorship and was the rapporteur for 1 project .
Member of the External Committee on Soil Collapse in Neighborhoods of Maceió-AL and of the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development.
