Trajectory
Luciano Lorenzini Zucco was born on March 9, 1974, in Alegrete, Rio Grande do Sul. He is a career military officer, graduated in Military Sciences from the Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN), with a master's degree in Strategic Intelligence, a specialization in higher education teaching, and an executive MBA in private and public security. Before entering politics, he served in the Brazilian Army and held positions related to institutional security, including in the Southern Military Command.
His political career effectively began in 2018, when he was elected state deputy in Rio Grande do Sul for the then PSL party, being the most voted in that election in the state with 166,747 votes. In 2022 he ran for federal deputy and was elected to the House of Representatives representing Rio Grande do Sul, with 259,023 votes, also obtaining the highest vote count among federal candidates from the state.
In the National Congress, Zucco is a member of several permanent committees: he is a member of the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development (CAPADR) from March 2025, a member of the Committee on Public Security and Combating Organized Crime (CSPCCO) from the beginning of 2024, and also serves on the Committee on Foreign Relations and National Defense (CREDN) and the Committee on Administration and Public Service (CASP). He holds leadership positions in both his party and the opposition: he was deputy leader of the Opposition in the House of Representatives and assumed the position of leader of the opposition from February 2025. In 2025, he is recorded as having authored 2,292 proposals and reported on 8 projects, according to the House of Representatives's records.

Luciano Zucco received the Parliamentary Excellence Award from the Politicians Ranking in every year of the 57th Legislature (2023-2026), being the 5th best parliamentarian in Rio Grande do Sul and 26th in the overall ranking for the Legislature.
