Trajectory
Luciano Ducci is a Brazilian physician and politician born on March 23, 1955, in Curitiba (PR) . A medical doctor specializing in pediatrics, with extensive experience in public health management, he served as Municipal Secretary of Health and Director-General of the Curitiba Health Department , where he implemented maternal and child health and emergency medical care programs that became national benchmarks before moving to the federal legislature.
In his political career , Ducci began as a state representative in Paraná (2003-2004) and later served as Vice-Mayor of Curitiba (2005-2010) and Mayor of the Paraná capital (2010-2012) . He was elected federal deputy for Paraná in 2014 , taking office on February 1, 2015 , and re-elected in 2018, 2022, and currently serves his term in the 57th Legislature (2023-2027) for the PSB-PR . Throughout his parliamentary career, he held positions as deputy leader of the PSB in the House of Representatives , and between March 17, 2023, and April 9, 2025, he was the Secretary of Participation, Interaction, and Digital Media of the House, in addition to returning to the deputy leadership of the PSB in September 2025 .
In the National Congress , Ducci has an active legislative role with approximately 152 proposals authored by him and 2 reported on in 2025, registered on the House of Representatives's website. (turn0search2) He is a member of the Committee on Social Security, Social Assistance, Childhood, Adolescence and Family and the Special Committee on Health Agents and the Fight against Endemic Diseases (PEC 014/21) , in addition to being an alternate member of the Health Committee . Among the projects he has presented are:
• Bill 5222/2025 , which proposes increasing the tax on betting establishments from 12% to 18% to strengthen the SUS (Brazilian public healthcare system );
• Bill 3909/2025 , which amends the Unemployment Insurance Law to recognize artisanal shrimp peeling workers as beneficiaries ;
• Bill 1548/2025 , which amends Law No. 9,294/1996 to provide for advertising of alcoholic beverages on the internet;
• Bill 180/2024 , which amends the Statute of Children and Adolescents to prohibit energy drinks for minors ;
• Bill 1834/2024 , which proposes reducing taxes on biodiesel and using carbon credits for public transportation ;
• Bill 3679/2023 , which prohibited the combined pricing of water and sewage in localities without a sewer network .
Ducci also positioned himself against the "Shielding Amendment" approved in the House of Representatives in 2025, defending principles of justice and equality before the law.
