Trajectory
Lenildo Mendes dos Santos Sertão, better known as Delegate Caveira, was born on April 27, 1979, in Rio Verde, Goiás. Before entering politics, he served in the Brazilian Army and, later, in the Military Police of Goiás, and in 2011 he passed the entrance exam for the Civil Police of Pará, where he worked as a delegate.
His political career began as a city councilor in São Félix do Xingu (PA) between 2017 and 2019, elected by the PSC with 1,265 votes. In 2018 he was elected state deputy of Pará by the PP with 16,325 votes, and in 2022 he was elected federal deputy, taking office on February 1, 2023, representing the Liberal Party (PL) of Pará.
In the National Congress, Delegate Caveira is a member of committees such as the Public Security and Combating Organized Crime Committee (as a full member) and the Communication and Social Security, Assistance, Childhood, Adolescence and Family committees. In 2025, he reportedly presented 272 proposals of his own authorship and reported on 8 projects , according to public data from the House of Representatives. His parliamentary work focuses on public security, instruments of authority, and issues with strong political repercussions, especially those related to his electoral base in Pará and to policing and crime fighting.
Acknowledgements
Delegate Caveira received the Parliamentary Excellence Award from the Politicians Ranking in every year of the 57th Legislature (2023-2026), being the 2nd best parliamentarian in Pará and 33rd in the overall ranking for the Legislature.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
