Jonas Donizette Ferreira (known as Jonas Donizette ) is a Brazilian politician and communicator , born on June 25, 1965, in Monte Belo (MG) . He has lived in Campinas (SP) since childhood and began his public career as a city councilor in Campinas in 1992 , being re-elected in 1996 and 2000. He later served as a state representative in São Paulo (2003–2011) before assuming his first term as a federal deputy (2011–2015) . He also served two terms as mayor of Campinas (2013–2020) , where he promoted health, education, and innovation policies. In 2022, he returned to the Legislative branch as a federal deputy for the 57th Legislature (2023–2027), representing the PSB-SP .
In his political career , Donizette has accumulated experience in all spheres of government, holding executive and legislative positions. In the House of Representatives, he has served as deputy leader of the Government and of parliamentary blocs , standing out in articulations on structural reforms such as the Tax Reform . He is a member of the Foreign Relations and National Defense Committee and serves as an alternate member on committees such as Transportation, Communication , and the Special Committee on the Municipal Participation Fund and Constitutional Funds , in addition to being part of working groups such as the National Tax System (PEC 45/19) . This experience broadens his presence in debates on foreign policy, infrastructure, budget, and sustainable development.
In the National Congress , Jonas Donizette has an active and diverse legislative career, with dozens of bills presented in 2025 and previous years , reflecting his emphasis on social, economic, and regulatory issues. His work includes proposals such as Bill 1243/2025 , which amends Laws No. 9.279/1996 and No. 9.610/1998 to allow the registration of pseudonyms or nicknames for minors under certain conditions ; Bill 4509/2025 , which amends Law No. 9.294/1996 to include warnings on alcoholic beverage labels ; Bill 4106/2025 , which extends the IPI exemption to people with disabilities receiving BPC benefits when purchasing automobiles ; and Bill 1451/2025 , which establishes rules on housing costs paid by companies and transfer allowances . Bill 2011/2025 , which provides for immunity from social security contributions owed to SENAR on export revenues ; Bill 3740/2025 , which promotes transparency and full defense in the tax administrative process ; and Bill 4849/2025 , which revokes a provision of the Code of Civil Procedure , initiatives that demonstrate their focus on economic rights, social inclusion, market regulation, and normative modernization in Brazilian legislation.
