Ivoneide Souza Caetano was born on September 10, 1972 , in Biritinga , in the interior of Bahia. She is a lawyer , also holding a degree in Administration and a postgraduate degree in Public Management. While still young, she moved to Camaçari , where she developed her professional and political career.
She was elected federal deputy for the PT in 2022 , assuming her first term in the 57th legislature of the House of Representatives. Ivoneide was the only woman elected by the Workers' Party in Bahia in that election, obtaining approximately 105,000 votes.
In the House of Representatives, Ivoneide Caetano dedicates herself primarily to issues of social inclusion , female entrepreneurship , family farming , and combating hunger , with a vision that integrates sustainability and social justice. She serves as a member of the Industry, Commerce, and Services Committee , having held the position of 2nd vice-president of this committee between March 2024 and March 2025. In addition, she was an alternate member of the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee. She also heads the subcommittee that monitors the "New Industry Brazil" program , launched by the Federal Government with billions of dollars in investments for the reindustrialization and technological innovation of the sector.
In the field of national networking, he represented Bahia at a seminar on innovation, industry and commerce in Rio de Janeiro, highlighting the importance of Camaçari as a strategic hub for sustainability and regional economic development.
