Trajectory
Ione Maria Moreira Dias Barbosa was born on March 20, 1974, in Barbacena (MG). She graduated in Law and completed a master's degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), with research on violence against women. Before entering Congress, she worked as a delegate of the Civil Police of Minas Gerais, especially as a Delegate for Women, and was also a prosecutor for the municipality of Juiz de Fora, in addition to being a professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
She was elected federal deputy for Minas Gerais in 2022, representing the Avante party, with 52,630 votes, and assumed her first term in February 2023.
In the National Congress, Delegate Ione stands out for her strong performance in public security, defense of women's rights, protection of children and adolescents, and public administration. She is a member of the Public Security and Combating Organized Crime Committee, the Women's Rights Committee, and the Public Administration and Service Committee. She is also part of a working group on the Protection of Children and Adolescents in the Digital Environment. In 2025, she had authored 166 proposals and produced 24 reports.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
