Trajectory
Glauber Braga began his public activism in the student movement and left-wing political organizations during his youth. He was actively involved in university student organizations and social movements linked to the democratization of politics and the critique of traditional power structures.
Before holding elected office, he built a profile as a political activist and strategist, with a strong presence in public debates, political events, and the production of content critical of the prevailing political and economic system.
He was elected federal deputy in 2014, with a term marked from the beginning by a confrontational stance. He was re-elected in subsequent elections, maintaining an electoral base concentrated in the urban and politically engaged electorate of the capital and metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro.
His parliamentary career is associated with combative action, criticism of traditional party agreements, and a refusal to integrate into institutionalized power structures within the House of Representatives.
It focuses primarily on issues related to democracy, social rights, combating corruption, and overseeing public officials. It is a constant presence in parliamentary commissions of inquiry and high-profile debates.
His performance is marked by strong use of the podium, direct clashes with authorities and parliamentarians, and wide repercussions on social media, making him one of the PSOL deputies with the greatest media exposure.
