Gabriel Mota e Silva is a Brazilian politician born on December 24, 1982, in Boa Vista (RR) . An administrator with an MBA in Human Resources Management and Business Management, he also worked as a farmer before entering politics. He began his public career in the municipal legislature as a city councilor in Boa Vista , where he served terms in different periods before reaching the National Congress. In 2022, he ran for federal deputy for the Republicanos party in Roraima , becoming an alternate, and on March 8, 2023, he assumed the mandate in the House of Representatives after the vacancy left by then-deputy Jhonatan de Jesus, joining the 57th Legislature (2023–2027) .
In his political career, Mota served as a city councilor in Boa Vista (2015–2016 and 2021–2023) and worked as a parliamentary advisor and director of operations for the Water and Sewage Company of Roraima before becoming a federal deputy. In Congress, he was vice-leader of parliamentary blocs at different times, demonstrating active participation in the internal workings of the House of Representatives.
In the National Congress , Gabriel Mota has a registered parliamentary activity with 62 proposals of his authorship and 5 reported in 2025 , being a member of the Mines and Energy Committee (where he also serves as 3rd vice-president ) and the External Committee to Monitor the Investigation of the Yanomami Crisis ; he is an alternate member of the Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development Committee and the Special Committee of PEC 072/23 (Immunity on IPVA) . He has presented projects such as Bill No. 2126/2025 (which amends the Civil Code to establish a supervised visitation regime in cases of domestic violence), Bill No. 1515/2023 (on the regulation of the demarcation of indigenous lands), Bill No. 2152/2024 (authorizes the sale of fuels in containers for rural producers and fishermen), and Bill No. 4142/2024 (suspension of payments for rural financing due to drought and fires in Roraima), among others.
