Gabriel Nunes Lomes , known as Gabriel Nunes , was born in Euclides da Cunha/BA on July 28, 1987. He is a lawyer, graduated in Law from the Jorge Amado University Center (UNIJORGE), in Salvador/BA.
Before entering politics, he worked as a lawyer and manager in family businesses linked to commerce and the service sector. He is the son of former federal deputy José Nunes , a politician with a long career in Bahia, which contributed to his entry into public life.
Gabriel Nunes began his political career with União Brasil , the party through which he was elected federal deputy for Bahia in 2022 , winning approximately 85,000 votes . He is currently serving his first term in the House of Representatives.
In the House of Representatives, Gabriel Nunes works on issues related to regional development, education, health, and infrastructure , seeking to strengthen the representation of his region of origin, the semi-arid region of Bahia.
She is a member of thematic committees, such as the Transportation and Highways Committee (CVT) and the Consumer Protection Committee (CDC) , in addition to participating in parliamentary fronts supporting entrepreneurship, agriculture, and youth.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
