Trajectory

Francisco Everardo Oliveira Silva, known as Tiririca, is a Brazilian actor, comedian, and politician. He is currently serving his fourth term as a federal deputy for São Paulo.

Tiririca was born in Itapipoca, Ceará, in 1965. He began working in the circus as a child in Ceará, performing as the clown Tiririca. In the 1990s, he recorded an album of humorous songs and distributed them informally in the Brazilian Northeast, in states such as Ceará, Pernambuco, and Bahia. The album, titled Tiririca, was a success, especially with the song "Florentina." The record label Sony Music bought the rights and released it nationally in 1996. The album sold over 1 million copies.

Fame led Tiririca to sign on to and star in comedy television programs. The actor participated in programs on Record, SBT, and Band until 2010, when he joined the PR party and decided to run for federal deputy. In the October elections, he was the most voted federal deputy, with 1.3 million votes.

In 2014, Tiririca ran again for the Federal House of Representatives, for the same party, the PR. He was re-elected with 1,016,796 votes, 336,970 fewer than in the 2010 elections, being the second most voted, losing only to Celso Russomanno (PRB).

On October 7, 2018, Tiririca was re-elected as a federal deputy with 453,855 votes, making him the fifth most voted candidate.

On October 2, 2022, with the number 2255, he was re-elected with 71,754 votes, being the elected candidate with the lowest vote count in the State of São Paulo.
