Kiko Celeguim is the political name of Francisco Daniel Celeguim de Morais , a Brazilian journalist and politician born on May 5, 1984, in São Paulo (SP) . A member of the Workers' Party (PT-SP) since 2000, he began his public career very young, being elected city councilor in Franco da Rocha at the age of 20. He later became mayor of Franco da Rocha for two terms (2013–2020) , where he worked on local development projects and the implementation of an educational center. In 2022, he was elected federal deputy for the state of São Paulo with 167,438 votes, being the second most voted PT candidate in the state , which consolidated his entry into the National Congress in 2023.
In his political career , Celeguim is serving his first term in the House of Representatives (2023-2027) for the PT-PCdoB-PV Federation , having held several appointments as vice-leader of the Brazil of Hope Federation in 2023–2024 , and in 2025 he actively participated in the Financial Oversight and Control Committee, where he was 1st Vice-President , a strategic role in the analysis of public accounts and budget execution, in addition to working on fronts related to transparency and social policies. In July 2025, he was elected president of the PT in the state of São Paulo for the four-year period 2025-2029 , reinforcing his leadership within the party.
In the National Congress , Kiko Celeguim has a broad and continuous legislative activity, with approximately 117 proposals of his authorship and 6 reported in 2025 registered on the House of Representatives' portal.
