Franciane Abade Bayer Muller is a federal deputy for Rio Grande do Sul , elected by the Republicanos party for the 2023–2027 legislature. Born on October 9, 1987, in Santa Maria (RS) , she holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, is married, a mother, and known for defending causes related to Christian values, faith, family, and life, as well as working for social development and inclusion in the state.
Before arriving at the House of Representatives, she was a state representative in Rio Grande do Sul , a position she held after being elected in 2018 with over 40,000 votes, during which time she also served as second vice-president of the Legislative Assembly , Women's Attorney , and member of the House's Board of Directors .
In her institutional political work in Brasília, Franciane Bayer is in her first federal term , serving on committees such as the Education Committee and participating in collegiate bodies that address women's rights, social security, childhood and adolescence, in addition to participating in relevant external committees, including the one that monitors femicides in Rio Grande do Sul, where she acts as sub-coordinator. She also participates in working groups such as the one that discusses policies to combat violence in Brazilian schools, reflecting her work on social issues and the protection of rights in legislative spaces.
In her legislative work, Franciane Bayer has presented and reported on several proposals aligned with her causes. Among the projects she promotes are Bill 4281/2025 , which proposes expanding campaigns for the Maria da Penha Law on digital platforms to reach younger audiences, and Bill 5134/2025 , which establishes the National Fund for Women's Rights and allows for income tax deductions for donations made to women's rights funds. In addition, she authored projects sanctioned at the state and federal levels, such as the law that allocates resources from public companies to sponsor women's soccer in Rio Grande do Sul, and previous initiatives as a state representative focused on health, suicide prevention, and religious inclusion in public and private environments. Franciane also participates in important committee reports and has coordinated requests for technical visits to inspect areas affected by floods in Rio Grande do Sul, demonstrating a performance that combines legislative proposals and oversight of public policies.
