Filipe Martins dos Santos (known in politics as Filipe Martins ) is a Brazilian politician born on April 1, 1984, in Goiânia (GO) and residing in Tocantins since 1989. A graduate in Public Management , he built his political career initially as a city councilor in Palmas (PSC) for two terms before being elected federal deputy for the state of Tocantins in 2022 , assuming his first term in the 57th Legislature (2023–2027) representing the PL-TO coalition . He was considered one of the most regionally recognized parliamentarians and, in 2025, received an award as the best federal deputy from Tocantins at the Congresso em Foco Awards , reinforcing his political visibility in Congress.
In his parliamentary political career , Filipe Martins has a profile aligned with conservative agendas, the defense of the traditional family and Christian values , and has held important positions in the House of Representatives, such as head of the Committee on Social Security, Social Assistance, Childhood, Adolescence and Family , in addition to being a member of committees such as Foreign Relations and National Defense, Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development , and serving on special committees on health agents and other relevant matters .
