Fernando Rodolfo

Fernando Rodolfo Tenório de Vasconcelos was born on November 17, 1983 , in Garanhuns, Pernambuco . He holds a university degree and works as a journalist and communicator , having worked in the media before entering politics. Affiliated with the Liberal Party (PL) , he was elected federal deputy for Pernambuco in 2018 , assuming his first term in the 2019–2023 legislature , and re-elected in 2022 for the 2023–2027 legislature in the House of Representatives representing his state.

Political Career

His political career includes active participation in internal leadership roles and service on parliamentary committees. Over the years, he has held positions as deputy party leader at different times and consolidated his base within the PL caucus in Pernambuco. Before arriving in Congress, he built regional notoriety for his work as a journalist and public figure in the state, which contributed to his bipartisan election.

In the National Congress, Fernando Rodolfo is a full-fledged federal deputy (2023–2027) and is a member of several important legislative committees: he is a full member of the Constitution and Justice and Citizenship Committee , the Special Committee on Energy Transition and Green Hydrogen Production , the Communications Committee , and the Economic Development Committee , in addition to being an alternate member of the Health Committee . According to official House of Representatives records for 2025, he has 50 proposals of his own authorship and 2 of which he is the rapporteur . Among the projects he has presented are initiatives such as PLP 139/2024 (special retirement for municipal guards), PL 3231/2025 (commercial advertising by broadcasters for educational/community purposes), PL 2758/2025 (comprehensive protection for children and adolescents against sexual violence), and PL 6353/2025 (rules for electronic traffic enforcement equipment).
