Giacobo

Fernando Lúcio Giacobo (known politically simply as Giacobo ) was born on December 17, 1970, in Pato Branco (PR) . An entrepreneur in the furniture, home appliance, and automotive sectors before entering politics, he graduated in Human Resources Management Technology from UNIP and began his public career as a business and community leader in Southwest Paraná.

Political Career

In his political career, Giacobo was first elected federal deputy for Paraná in 2002, assuming office on February 1, 2003, and has since been successively re-elected to the House of Representatives in the legislatures 2003-2007, 2007-2011, 2011-2015, 2015-2019, 2019-2023 and 2023-2027. Currently, the deputy is affiliated with the PSD.

Performance in the House of Representatives

In the National Congress , Giacobo is continuously active, especially on issues related to agribusiness, rural development, and public policies for the interior of Paraná . In the 57th Legislature (2023–2027), he has approximately 49 proposals of his own authorship and 1 reported on the House of Representatives's website in 2025. He is a member of committees, holding the position of head of the Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development Committee and serving as an alternate member in committees such as Agriculture and Foreign Relations and National Defense . Among his bills is PL 4163/2021 , which authorizes the establishment of the "Solidarity Food Bank — Good Food We Donate" program to combat food waste and provides tax incentives for donations . His parliamentary work also involves the allocation of significant budget amendments for health, infrastructure, and public services in Paraná , reinforcing his municipalist agenda and support for regional development.
