Trajectory
Fernando José de Souza Marangoni was born on January 22, 1980, in São Paulo. He is a lawyer, businessman, and university professor, with a doctorate in Social Sciences and a degree in Law. Before assuming a federal elected office, Marangoni was the Municipal Secretary of Housing and Land Regularization of Santo André (SP) and the Executive Secretary of Housing for the State of São Paulo.
He was elected federal deputy for the state of São Paulo for the 2023-2027 legislature, affiliated with the Podemos party. In the National Congress, Marangoni has served on several relevant committees. He is a member of special committees such as the Energy Transition and Green Hydrogen Production Committee, the Disaster and Natural Calamity Prevention and Relief Committee, the Transportation and Roads Committee, and the Income Tax Legislation Amendment Committee (PL 1087/25). As of 2025, he is estimated to have authored 305 proposals and reported on 22 projects.
His parliamentary work reflects an emphasis on infrastructure, transportation, energy transition, tax regulation, and regional development.
Acknowledgements
Marangoni received the Parliamentary Excellence Award in 2024, 2025, and 2026 from the Ranking of Politicians , being the 15th best parliamentarian in São Paulo and 66th in the overall ranking for the Legislature.
