Fábio Henrique Dias de Macedo was born on September 18, 1981, in Dom Pedro, Maranhão. He is a businessman.
Fábio Macedo was a state representative for Maranhão between 2015 and 2022. During that period, he held the vice-presidency of the Board of Directors of the Legislative Assembly. In 2022, he ran for federal deputy for Maranhão with the Podemos (PODE) party and was elected with more than 95,000 votes.
As a federal deputy since February 1, 2023, Fábio Macedo has assumed a relevant leadership role. He was elected leader of the parliamentary bloc formed by MDB, PSD, Republicanos, Podemos, and PSC, which brings together 142 deputies, making this bloc one of the largest currently active in the House of Representatives. He was also the leader of the Podemos caucus. He is a member of permanent committees such as the Tourism Committee, in addition to having held titular or vice-presidential positions in state committees and in the state, and participates in the Special Committee of PEC 027/24 (National Fund for Racial Equality). Macedo has also proposed projects in the field of health, focusing on mental health, telemedicine, and legislative changes to guarantee psychosocial support for women victims of workplace violence.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
