Eduardo Pazuello, born in Rio de Janeiro/RJ on July 19, 1963, holds a degree in military sciences from the Agulhas Negras Military Academy, located in Rio de Janeiro. He attended the Command and General Staff course in the Army and the aerospace policy and strategy course in the Brazilian Air Force (FAB).
Eduardo Pazuello's political career began in 2018 when he was appointed Secretary of Finance of Roraima during the period of federal intervention . In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was appointed by the then Minister of Health, Nelson Teich , as Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Health. After Teich's departure on May 15, Pazuello assumed the Ministry on an interim basis until being appointed, in June 2020, by then President Jair Bolsonaro . In 2021, he was replaced by physician Marcelo Queiroga and appointed Secretary of Strategic Affairs of the Special Secretariat for Strategic Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic.
In 2022, Pazuello ran for office with the Liberal Party (PL), and was elected with 205,324 votes, finishing second in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
General Pazuello has distinguished himself through his work on issues related to public security, national defense, health, and the energy matrix.
Among his main achievements are:
Pazuello is the president of the Mixed Parliamentary Front in Support of the Humanitarian Reception of Transnational Migrants and Refugees and of the Parliamentary Front in Support of Oil, Gas and Energy .

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
