Eduardo Ovídio Borges De Velloso Vianna, better known as Dr. Eduardo Velloso, born in Rio Branco/AC on July 8, 1976, is a Brazilian politician affiliated with União Brasil (UNIÃO). He currently serves as a federal deputy for Acre since 2023. He holds a degree in medicine with a specialization in ophthalmology.
Dr. Eduardo Velloso began his political career as an alternate senator for Márcio Bittar. He temporarily assumed the position of senator for Acre from May 31 to October 14, 2022, due to Márcio Bittar taking a leave of absence.
In the 2022 elections, Dr. Eduardo Velloso was elected federal deputy for Acre with 16,786 votes, marking the beginning of his work in the House of Representatives. During his speech after being elected, Velloso highlighted the "Veja Mais Brasil" program as one of his priority agendas, aiming to expand access to healthcare in remote areas through telemedicine consultations.
During his term as a federal deputy, Dr. Eduardo Velloso has distinguished himself through his work on issues related to public health, regional development, and social policies. He voted in favor of the 2023 tax reform .
