Trajectory
Dimas Fabiano Toledo Júnior was born in Macaé (RJ) and built his political career in Minas Gerais. A law graduate and businessman, he began his public life in the interior of Minas Gerais, where he consolidated his electoral base with strong municipalist action and a focus on regional development policies.
In his political career, he was a city councilor in Varginha (MG) and served as a state representative for Minas Gerais. In 2010, he was elected federal deputy, being re-elected for successive legislatures, which placed him among the parliamentarians with the longest continuous tenure in the Minas Gerais delegation. Over the years, he was part of the Progressistas (PP) party base and held leadership positions within the party.
In the National Congress, Dimas Fabiano focuses on issues such as family law, legal security, traffic, and social rights , and is the author of several bills, including PL 62/2025 , which proposes changes to the Brazilian Traffic Code to allow the use of audiovisual material produced by citizens to prove traffic violations; PL 1,506/2025 , which deals with the protection of children and adolescents against certain digital content; PL 1,505/2025 , which provides for incentives and guidelines in the school environment; PL 5,097/2025 , which amends the Penal Code to increase penalties in cases of fraud against judicial authorities; and PL 6,402/2025 , which establishes circumstances in which the granting of paternity leave and paternity pay is prohibited. He also presented regional projects such as PL 5.933/2023 and PL 5.934/2023 , which confer honorary titles to municipalities in Minas Gerais (Maria da Fé and Jesuânia). These projects reflect his work in civil law, legal security, and support for municipalities in Minas Gerais , as well as initiatives focused on citizenship and the protection of young people.
