Daniel Barbosa

Daniel Barbosa de Almeida Silva was born on October 27, 1984, in Maceió (AL) . He holds a degree in Social Communication with a focus on Advertising from Anhembi Morumbi University, where he also completed postgraduate courses in Public Policy Management and Evaluation and Corporate Communication Management (all in 2014–2015). Professionally, he works as an entrepreneur and advertising professional .

Political career

In the 2022 state elections , he was elected federal deputy for Alagoas by the Progressistas (PP) party for the 2023–2027 legislature, taking office on February 1, 2023 .

Performance in the National Congress

• By 2025, Daniel Barbosa had presented 38 proposals of his own authorship and served as rapporteur for 3 projects .

• Member of the External Committee on Soil Collapse in Neighborhoods of Maceió-AL , the Education Committee , and the Special Committee on the National Education Plan (PL 2614/24) .

• He served as deputy leader of the party bloc formed by UNIÃO, PP, PSDB, Cidadania, PDT, Avante, Solidariedade and PRD on March 20, 2024 .

Daniel Barbosa dedicates his support to education , the environmental agenda , focusing on energy transition and emissions reduction , and to valuing federal highway police officers .
