Carlos Jordy

Carlos Jordy is a Brazilian politician known for his conservative profile and his alignment with President Jair Bolsonaro. He was re-elected for his second term as a federal deputy with 114,500 votes.

Political Career

His political career began as a city councilor in Niterói, where he also stood out for his conservative positions. Furthermore, in 2011, he began working in public service after passing the competitive exam for Planning and Budget Analyst at the São Gonçalo City Hall. Currently, Jordy is a licensed federal public servant at the National Agency for Waterway Transportation.

Performance in the House of Representatives

Jordy is known for making speeches that oppose the left and for defending agendas aligned with the conservative movement, including the defense of family values ​​and the promotion of public safety policies. During his time in the House of Representatives, he served as Deputy Leader of the Government between 2019 and 2020.

The politician also stood out for his support of the Sanitation Framework and the Cedae concession auction, arguing that these measures could contribute to the universalization of water and sewage treatment services. His vote is concentrated especially in the region of Niterói, Maricá, São Gonçalo, as well as other cities such as Santa Maria Madalena and Itaboraí.
