Amanda Kelly Gentil Guimarães Rosa was born on December 25, 1998, in Caxias, Maranhão. A graduate in Engineering, she entered politics at a young age, holding a municipal executive position before launching her candidacy for federal deputy. Her political career includes a stint as secretary of government in Caxias, a position she left to run for her first term in the House of Representatives, being elected in 2022 with approximately 108,699 votes.
In the House of Representatives, Amanda Gentil holds a mandate for the period 2023-2027 representing Maranhão for the Progressive Party (PP). During her term, she has held party positions such as vice-leader of the PP and vice-leader of party blocs. In addition, she recently assumed the state presidency of the PP in Maranhão.
