In the House of Representatives , Lindenmeyer serves as a full member of committees such as the Committee for the Defense of the Rights of the Elderly , the Labor Committee , the Public Administration and Service Committee , and the Tourism Committee , in addition to serving as an alternate member of others, which reflects his involvement with social issues, labor, and public policies that are fundamental to Brazilian society.
In his legislative work , Alexandre Lindenmeyer has a prolific parliamentary output, focusing on social policies, inclusion, labor rights, and sustainability. He is the author or co-author of bills such as PL 1101/2024 , which allocates cell phones seized in prisons to unemployed women and young people registered in the CadÚnico (Single Registry for Social Programs); PL 1100/2024 , which directs resources from tax debts of sports clubs to para-sports projects aimed at vulnerable youth; PL 4983/2023 , which guarantees the right to potable water through the installation of public water fountains in high-traffic urban areas; PL 1106/2024 , which includes oral hygiene kits in the basic food baskets of the National Food and Nutritional Security System; and PL 2133/2024 , which establishes the National Program to Support Those Affected by Climate Change.
