Trajectory
Alden José Lázaro da Silva, known as Captain Alden, was born on April 19, 1980, in Salvador (BA). He is a police officer and holds a bachelor's degree in Law, with academic training in Public Security from the Military Police Academy of Bahia (2002–2005), in addition to specializations in violence prevention, criminal analysis, and policy and strategy, and is also a graduate of the Superior War College.
Captain Alden began his political career as a state representative in Bahia, elected in 2018 (term until 2022). In 2022, he was elected federal deputy for the state of Bahia, assuming office on February 1, 2023, and affiliated with the PL party.
Before joining Congress, he distinguished himself in the Legislative Assembly of Bahia, where he chaired committees such as Consumer Protection and was deputy leader of the minority. In addition, he published works on police guidance such as the "Police Guidance Primer – Symbolic Languages of Crime".
They have authored 299 proposals and reported on 9 projects.
Since May 2023, he has held the position of deputy leader of the PL in the House of Representatives on several occasions, including alternating between leading the government's base and the opposition, in addition to serving as deputy leader of the minority in 2025.
She is a member of the External Committee on the Transposition of the São Francisco River, the Education Committee, and the Committee on Public Security and Combating Organized Crime.
