Trajectory
Alcides Ribeiro Filho, known as Professor Alcides, was born on October 25, 1953, in Remanso, Bahia. He is a professor and businessman, with higher education including a master's degree. He previously served as a city councilor in Aparecida de Goiânia.
Professor Alcides was elected federal deputy for Goiás for the first time in 2018, running for the Progressive Party (PP) and receiving approximately 88,545 votes. In 2022, he was re-elected, this time affiliated with the PL, with approximately 90,162 votes. He has also run for other municipal and state positions, such as mayor of Aparecida de Goiânia (in 2016), and ran again in that election in 2024, but was defeated.
In the House of Representatives, Professor Alcides is a full member of the Education Committee and an alternate member of committees such as the Health Committee, the Industry, Commerce and Services Committee, and the Special Committee on the Accumulation of Teaching Positions (PEC 169/19). During his terms, he presented and reported on several bills focused mainly on education, regional development, and strengthening public policies in the social sector. He also participated in relevant debates on improving educational legislation and inclusion policies.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
