Bibo Nunes

Alcíbio Mesquita Bibo Nunes was born on January 9, 1957, in Cruz Alta (RS). Before entering politics full-time, he worked as a communicator, television presenter, journalist, and businessman, careers that gave him public notoriety in Rio Grande do Sul.

Political career

He joined the Liberal Party (PL) and has served as a federal deputy for the state of Rio Grande do Sul since February 1, 2019. Within the House of Representatives, he has held leadership positions, serving as vice-leader of the PL at different times.

In his parliamentary work, Bibo Nunes is a member of important committees: he was the 2nd vice-president of the Communications Committee, a full member of the Tourism Committee, and participated as a full or alternate member in other financial oversight committees.
