He settled in Pará at a young age, where he built his union and political career in defense of family farming and the sustainable development of the Amazon region. Affiliated with the Workers' Party (PT), Faleiro was elected federal deputy for the state of Pará for the 2019–2023 and 2023–2027 legislatures in the House of Representatives.
Before arriving at the National Congress, he dedicated decades to union organization and social struggles, being the first coordinator of the Movement for the Survival of the Trans-Amazonian Highway and the Xingu Region, vice-president and president of the Federation of Agricultural Workers of Pará (Fetagri/PA), and director of the National Confederation of Agricultural Workers (CONTAG). Faleiro also served as a state deputy in Pará for multiple terms, where he stood out as an articulator of policies for regional development and an interlocutor of demands with the Federal Government.
