Trajectory
Adriana Sauthier Accorsi was born on March 17, 1973, in the municipality of Itapuranga, in the interior of Goiás. Daughter of Darci Accorsi, former mayor of Goiânia, and Lucide Verônica Sauthier Accorsi, she grew up in a politically active environment, participated in the youth wing of the Workers' Party (PT), studied Law at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), and specialized in Public Security and Criminal Sciences. She was appointed a police delegate, worked in several police stations in Goiás, headed the Child and Adolescent Protection Police Station (DPCA) for eight years, was superintendent of Human Rights at the Goiás Public Security Secretariat, and, in 2011, became the Chief of Police of the State, the first woman to hold this position.
Adriana Accorsi began her political career when she was elected state representative in Goiás in 2014, being one of the most voted candidates. Re-elected in 2018, she ran twice for mayor of Goiânia (2016 and 2020), without success. In 2022, she was elected federal deputy for the state of Goiás with approximately 96,714 votes , assuming office for the period 2023-2027.
In the National Congress, Delegate Adriana Accorsi focuses her work on public security, human rights, the protection of children and adolescents, and combating violence against women. She has defended the Public Security Amendment, in which she worked to have municipal guards explicitly included among the recognized corporations, proposing independent ombudsman and internal affairs offices, as well as police integration between states to avoid investigative fragmentation. She also presented a federal bill to support women victims of domestic violence, proposing the State Program for the Protection and Support of Women (PROMULHER), with resources for shelters, psychological, legal, and specialized assistance; this bill is currently being processed in the Goiás Legislative Assembly.
