Trajectory
Adalberto Rosa Barreto, nicknamed Dal Barreto , was born on March 16, 1979 , in Amargosa, Bahia . A businessman in the fuel industry with consolidated experience in gas stations in the Jiquiriçá Valley, Recôncavo, and Southern Bahia, he has completed elementary school.
Dal Barreto began his political career as a state representative for Bahia , elected in 2018 by the PCdoB. During that term, he moved to the PP and, later, to União Brasil, being elected in 2022 as a federal deputy . Currently, he is serving his first term in the Federal House of Representatives (2023–2027), representing the state of Bahia for União Brasil.
In Congress, Dal Barreto has distinguished himself through his stable presence and consistent parliamentary performance. In 2025, he authored 10 proposals and was the rapporteur for 1 project , in addition to participating in 197 roll-call votes in plenary sessions. Currently, he serves as an alternate member of the Mines and Energy and Transportation Committees, and was a full member of the CCJC ( Committee on Constitution, Justice and Citizenship) for a period. Furthermore, Dal Barreto has demonstrated concern for local development, investing resources in infrastructure for southern Bahia, such as allocating funds for a hospital and agricultural equipment in Santo Estêvão, and supporting investments in healthcare, such as the neonatal complex at the Santa Casa de Santo Antônio de Jesus.

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
