Trajectory
Acácio Favacho was born on September 28, 1983, in Macapá (AP). He is a lawyer by training and comes from a family with a strong political tradition; he is the brother of state deputy Júnior Favacho, son of Amiraldo Favacho (councilor of the TCE/AP) and Francisca Favacho (former state deputy).
He began his political career as a city councilor in Macapá, elected in 2008, and re-elected in 2012 and 2016.
In 2018, he was elected federal deputy for Amapá, coming in second place in the state vote with approximately 19,111 votes; he was re-elected in 2022 with over 24,000 votes.
Currently, he chairs the MDB party's directory in Amapá and has served as deputy leader of the majority in the House of Representatives since April 2023.
Acácio Favacho played a decisive role in several legislative initiatives that became law:
He was the rapporteur for Provisional Measure 1042/21, which became Law No. 14,204/21, simplifying the management of appointed positions and positions of trust in the Federal Executive Branch without increasing expenses.
Rapporteur of Constitutional Amendment Proposal 32/21, which became Constitutional Amendment 122/22, raising the maximum age for the appointment of members of the Supreme Federal Court and other courts from 75 to 70 years.
He was the rapporteur for Bill 1304/20, which became Law No. 14,004/20, transferring federal lands to the states of Roraima and Amapá, strengthening the management of the border territory.
In 2025, he presented 42 proposals of his own authorship and was the rapporteur for 1 project.
