Ubiratan Antunes Sanderson was born on December 1, 1969, in Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul. He holds a law degree, a specialization in Public Security and Ethics in Public Service from the National Police Academy, and a postgraduate degree in Public Security Management. Before entering elected politics, he accumulated 23 years of service in the Federal Police, eventually becoming president of the union of federal police officers in Rio Grande do Sul.
Sanderson was elected federal deputy for Rio Grande do Sul in 2018 by the then PSL party, obtaining approximately 88,559 votes, and re-elected in 2022 by the PL with 86,600 votes.
