Thiago Leite Flores Pereira, born in Ribeirão Preto/SP on July 3, 1980, holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Juiz de Fora and a postgraduate degree in Criminalistics from Castelo Branco University (RJ). He began his career as a police delegate in Rondônia in 2004, working mainly in Ariquemes/RO. From 2009 onwards, he taught Criminal Law at the Associated Faculties of Ariquemes (FAAR) and worked as a collaborating professor in the subject of Criminal Execution at the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR).
Thiago Flores ran for elected office for the first time in 2014, when he obtained 17,861 votes in the race for a seat as a federal deputy, becoming the third alternate. In 2016, he was elected mayor of Ariquemes/RO, with 31.97% of the valid votes, serving until 2020, a period marked by the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2022, he was elected federal deputy for Rondônia by the MDB party, with 23,791 votes, being the sixth most voted in the state. Currently, the deputy is affiliated with União Brasil.
As a member of parliament, Thiago Flores' main causes are public safety, defense of the family, freedom of expression, and the strengthening of agribusiness and family farming. He is the author of a proposed amendment to the Constitution that limits the powers of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and alters the methods of appointing its justices. He is a member of the Committees on Public Security and Combating Organized Crime (CSPCCO), of which he is a full member, and on Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development (CAPADR).

I request, pursuant to Article 155, item I, of the Internal Regulations of the House of Representatives, an Urgent Procedure for Bill 2158/23, authored by Senator EFRAIM FILHO, UNIÃO/PB, which amends Law No. 5,991, of December 17, 1973, which "provides for the Sanitary Control of the Trade in Drugs, Medicines, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, and takes other measures", to regulate the sale of medicines in pharmacies or drugstores located in the sales area of supermarkets.
